Two-factor authentication adds a code from an authenticator app to your sign-in process. The current setup uses an authenticator app that supports time-based one-time passwords (TOTP).
Before you start
Have access to your account and an authenticator app. Keep access to the device that stores your authenticator entry. Do not share a setup QR code, secret key, or one-time code with anyone.
Find the security control
- Open the account menu and choose Settings, or open Settings from the workspace sidebar.
- Choose the Profile tab in Account settings.
- Find the Two-factor authentication card.
- Select Enable two-factor authentication to begin your own setup.
Complete setup
- Scan your account’s setup QR code with your authenticator app, or use the displayed secret key when your app supports manual setup.
- Enter the current 6-digit code from your authenticator app.
- Select Verify & Activate.
- Confirm that the card reports that two-factor authentication is enabled.
Generating a QR code alone does not confirm activation. Follow the verification step and check the resulting status.
When you sign in
Use the current code from the authenticator entry for your RapidoForm account when prompted. This is different from an emailed sign-in or verification code.
If a code is rejected
- Make sure you selected the correct account in your authenticator app.
- Use a current code; wait for a new one if the previous code is about to expire.
- Check that your device’s clock is set correctly.
- If setup is still pending, follow the setup instructions shown in the card.
If you lose access to your authenticator, contact support through an available support channel. Never include your password, secret key, QR code, or one-time codes in a support message or screenshot.
