Use the logic map

The map helps you inspect question paths and open their rules. The current builder also provides a branching dialog for editing the conditions and actions.

Steps

  1. Open the form in Design and select Logic to see the map.
  2. Use zoom and fit controls to inspect the questions and connections. Select a question to inspect its rules.
Use zoom to inspect individual routes. A map connection alone does not prove the rule is correct.
  3. Where the map offers connection handles, use them to begin a destination rule, then complete the resulting conditions and actions.
  4. Use Branching & Calculations to review the complete rule before saving.
Read the condition and destination together. This example was canceled; it does not demonstrate a saved or executed rule.
  5. Preview every changed route. A visible connection is not evidence that the intended answer condition is correct.

Check before you rely on it

Check the starting question, destination, and fallback path. Keep loops out of ordinary surveys unless the flow has a tested exit.

If you need help

If the map is hard to navigate on a small screen, use the branching dialog and inspect one question at a time.

Contact support with the relevant screen, time, and a redacted description. Keep credentials and private respondent information out of screenshots.
