Show the progress bar
A progress indicator can help respondents understand their place in a form.

Steps
- Open Design → More settings and find Hide progress bar.
Controls such as Hide progress bar use negative wording. Check the switch against the actual preview. - Turn Hide progress bar off to show it, or on to hide it. Confirm the intended change has saved.
- Preview the beginning, middle, and end of the form on desktop and mobile. Follow alternate branches as well as the main path.
Choose Mobile below the preview to inspect a narrow layout. Also test the complete form on an actual phone.
Check before you rely on it
Progress can be harder to interpret in a branched form. Test the actual respondent flow rather than estimating progress from question numbers.

If the bar is still missing, reopen the intended form and check the saved setting and current preview.
