Steps

  1. Select the intended question and open Question options → Media → + Add.
Question media is separate from theme backgrounds and visual answer choices.
  2. Use the Image tab and its source selector to choose an available upload or library option.
Question media illustrates the question. Image answer choices are configured separately.
  3. Select the intended image, review its presentation in the media editor, and save it.
  4. Preview loading, cropping, and any GIF animation on desktop and mobile. Keep a text explanation for information needed to answer.

Check before you rely on it

Use media you have permission to publish. Avoid distracting motion and do not place essential instructions only in an image.

If you need help

If a GIF does not animate in the intended flow, check the actual saved file and browser instead of assuming every image source preserves animation.

Contact support with the relevant screen, time, and a redacted description. Keep credentials and private respondent information out of screenshots.
