Steps

  1. Add an Image question and provide an image and meaningful caption for each choice.
  2. Open Question options to review Multiple Selections, Shuffle Images, and Images per row.
Current image choice options from a synthetic development form. Review the controls offered for your selected question.
  3. Choose the intended required-answer behavior with Mark Optional. Check that image captions distinguish the choices without relying only on color.
Checked means the question is optional. Uncheck Mark Optional when an answer is required.
  4. Preview desktop and mobile layouts, choose the intended answers, and inspect a synthetic response.
Choose Mobile below the preview to inspect a narrow layout. Also test the complete form on an actual phone.

Check before you rely on it

Choose images you have permission to use. Avoid tiny text inside an image and verify the crop at narrow widths.

If you need help

If an image is missing, check its saved source and loading result before distributing the form.

Contact support with the relevant screen, time, and a redacted description. Keep credentials and private respondent information out of screenshots.
